I am Lauren Long the student activities chair director here at NMT. The SAB at NMT is attempting to have this event and we are trying to gain support in advertising for the event. If you would like to support us we will add you to the Sponsors list to be read and or posted at our event. The event information is below:
NMT Comic Con Sunday April 12th from 11:00 am -5:00 pm located at 801 Leroy place Socorro NM 87801.The event would be free to any college student with their student ID, $20 for adults, $10 for kids 12 and younger. The information about the event is below:
There will be a comic con session in Fidel building on campus! Advertisements will be coming off the presses shortly. There will be 20+ vendors who will also be attending. The people who will be doing the autograph and photo session are as follows:
Peter Mayhew- Peter played Chewbacca in the original franchise as well at Episode III Revenge of the Sith and will be reprising Chewbacca in the new film Star Wars Episode VII The Force Awakens. He is one of few actors who as been in all three trilogy's. Fee for autograph is $30 Photo is $20
Jake Lloyd- Young Anikan Skywalker and also starred in the hit Turbo man with Arnold Schwarzenegger. Fee for autograph is $20 Photo is $10
Jim Cummings- Jim is one of the industries leading voice actors. Jim is the voice of Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, Darkwing Duck, Scar, Cat-Dog and Hondo on Star Wars Clone Wars. He will be reprising Hondo on the new series Star Wars Rebels. Jim as probably voiced at least one character in all of your students favorite childhood cartoons. Fee for autograph is $20, for voicemail $20 for Photo $10
Mark Dodson- Mark is a voice actor as well. He was the voice of Salacious Crumb in Star Wars Episode VI Return of the Jedi and many of the gremlins including George, Daffy and Lenny in Gremlins I & II. Fee for autograph is $20, for voicemail $20 for Photo $10
